Hoenemier only needs to find another writer for
her suit to be class-action. If nobody else joins
her she still has the option of suing individually,
except that it will reduce the potential fees her
lawyer might collect, which in turn could cause
the lawyer to conclude that there is no potential
contingency payment windfall and encourage a
quick settlement.
And so far all the article tells us is that Sun
*says* no other of their writers wants to be
hourly; there is still a potential pool of other
former Sun employees to be heard from.
