What do I think?
1. Lauren nailed it a while back.
2. There seem to be two definition initiatives under STC auspices.
3. The 2nd one has to do with the Technical Communicator Body of Knowledge effort. This is the one we'd better keep an eye on.
4. Definition effort number 1 has to do with a U.S. Department of Labor publication and I still don't know who actually uses it.
