I'm a Brit.

I've never heard of anyone referring to a 'Nistory book'.

Perhaps it's because I'm not a cockney...

Or because we speak right proper oop in't North. (Yorkshire accent,
darling)

Nicola

Lauren rightly demanded:

Has anyone ever heard a Brit refer to a "Nistory" book? Or a
"n'istorical occasion"? Oi vey!
And one presumes that English IS their first language... :-)
