Hi Sylvia,

I just finished teaching a course in project management for technical
communicators. The advice that Lauren and others have offered is very
practical. If you believe that you will pursue the management end of
technical communication, you might like to work toward your Project
Management Professional (PMP) certification through the Project Management
Institute (PMI) www.pmi.org. Start to track the information required on each
project that you manage straightaway as you will need it for the
application.

Just a thought . . .

Pat
