What do you mean "looks fine?" Are you opening the RTF in Word or some other program and seeing if it lines up then?

Right now it seems like the problem could be coming from either the RTF or from Framemaker. If you open the RTF in Word or some other program and get the same extra-column problem then, that would indicate that the source of the problem is somewhere in the code of the RTF file.

Are you always using the same Frame table specification?

If it was me, I'd start checking the Frame paragraph tag that is applied to the table content. When the table is imported, maybe the tag is forcing an additional space in front of a table entry.
