A while ago, I was told that Alfresco was a pretty good DMS and it is open
source. However, it looks like it is no longer free.
Can you please recommend a good DMS. I think that the company is looking at
spending as little as possible on technical writing so free or cheap and
good would be great.
However, i would also like to hear about the recommendations of good DMS.
We currently have agile in our company but I am not sure that we can use it
as DMS, everything is done with numbers and not with titles. Should we still
use this?
In the previous company, we used VSS. It was OK, got the job done. However,
I guess that there are Browser-based DMSes may be better and are possibly
accessible from everywhere.
