If it had been me, if it wasn't a high priority thing that had to be done in a hurry, I would have sent a flagged email with receipt request to prove I had tried, taken my cell phone, and propped my feet up on the porch rail with a tequila sunrise and a book. Isn't that what remote working is all about? I have a wireless modem and do half my work on the back deck under the hummingbird feeder, or down at the lake. I'm working on a way to waterproof my laptop and put it on a pool float. :-)
