Subject:Agile as a Document Revision Control system? From:SB <sylvia -dot- braunstein -at- gmail -dot- com> To:TECHWR-L <techwr-l -at- lists -dot- techwr-l -dot- com> Date:Mon, 30 Jun 2008 18:47:47 +0300
Hello,
We are using Word 2003 and will move to AuthorIT, hopefully soon.
Is anybody using Agile as a document revision control system?
My company is using Agile Advantage 2006, which offers a certain level
of revision control, but it requires individual ECOs (sometimes
virtual) to be issued/created for every document revision.
The 2006 version of Agile also has some document review/approval
features; is anybody using this feature in the document
review/approval process?
We are still exploring these possibilities, but I think that the good
thing about Agile is its strong connection to the actual release
process, and its automatically issued e-mails can help formalizing the
document review/approval process.
