I know of a project manager who was hired at a company I worked at, but
they didn't give him much work.

So he spent his time designing porn sites!

He was eventually fired, accused of taking a laptop.

That went all the way up to the CEO? Jeez, he must have been doing
something *really* ugly.

Obviously the guy was using company resources to do something of such a
nature, the company feared it might be held liable in some way. Or they
were afraid if what the guy was doing became known, the company would
get negative publicity that would hurt its business. That's way to h**l
and gone beyond checking personal email at 9:25 am, that's a whole new
dimension of doing the wrong thing on company time. That's the top 1% of
the "bad things to do at work" pyramid.

Great, now I'm going to be so curious I can't stand it. If you ever find
out what he was up to that caused such an explosion, let me know.
