Re: detect and repair

Unfortunately, the Detect and Repair function reinstalls all of Office....  
as I found out the hard way. Still trying to get my settings and preferences  
back to the way they were. (Really loving MS about now.)

You  might want to run detect and repair (under the Word help menu)  just  
for fun. It ostensibly detects and repairs errors in Office files. Can't  
hurt.
