TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
Yeah, I'm been strung out since Monday while the powers that be decide
wherther or not to hire me. I've met them on price, being aggressive in my
kowtowing, yet no definitive word back. Strange. I'm guessing they're still
looking for the <myprice> - $10K candidate, if that person even has a third
of the experience I bring to the table.
That said, just now I sent this article as a Word attachment (giving full
credit) to the OKer, in an effort 1) to keep my name in front of him, 2) let
him know I'm still thinking about his company, and 3) that I'm so thoughtful
as to think of him when I read it. I suggested to him that it might be
useful as he presents an argument to the BofD as to why the additional $10K
is justified in my case.
