If that's really the way it happened, you have incredible cool. Not
only that, you could/should be writing screen plays :-) Only reason I
say that, is that I doubt I could have held on that long, or as evenly
(definitely not as evenly).

Perhaps the fact that you let one of your kids play hockey is a sign
that you have nerves of steel, or similar. Me, on the other hand...
but anyway, I "think" it was a good idea to assert yourself,
especially in the manner you did. It seems like it was as unoffensive
as this type of thing could be.

On the other hand, I'd like to encourage you to think about what
Bonnie said--you really don't know what's going on in his head.
Personally, at this point, I think I might be thinking about getting a
different job, if that isn't an impossible dream.

I know that isn't the assertive position, but guess what people, it's
a little bit like being right all the time--sometimes, that isn't the
best approach. I also wonder about company management; it sounds like
they're either blind, don't care, or don't have a clue. So it's hard
to say how ably they'd deal with the situation.

Anyway, best wishes about your son's recovery and for you and your
family's well-being.

Regards,

Kathleen
