Reappearing unresolved x-refs in Frame

Hi, everyone.

Whenever I open all the files in my Frame book, I get "unresolved 
cross-references" error messages.

As soon as all files are open, I run Update Book. NO cross-ref errors 
are generated.

If I then save all files in book, close all files, and reopen all files, 
the "unresolved x-refs" message reappears.

Why is this happening and how do I stop it?

You may wonder why I am asking this question here instead of looking in 
the Frame Users group archives. I have already looked there. Sadly, 
their archives are simply a list of files, by month, with no way to 
search.
