Would you mind critiquing my site (kindly)?

Hi Everyone,

Well, as you know, I'm now looking for contracts... I've decided to go 
ahead and try to build up a website and see what I can do from there.

I've finally finished the design and initial content - though I am 
planning to get a lot more content and links etc. up next week.

I was wondering if those of you who enjoy doing that kind of thing, 
would be kind enough to give me their thoughts/advice, as I venture into 
this new realm (in great fear and trembling...)
By the way, please respond to me, not just the list (or only to me) - 
I'm still waiting for technical help, but for some reason, I can submit 
emails, but cannot receive from the list, so I have to go to the website 
to view stuff. I have verified correct settings several times.
