Actually, I didn't have a problem with it. It's just a common
grumble I recall from the beta testing forums. In fact, I never
really made much use of either the 3.1 or 9x+ Explorers
because I was working dual platform in Windows and UNIX
X-Windows at the time and it was less confusing to do things
either from the command lines or by opening folder windows.

Like Gene, I was one of those who hated the Explorer file management tool, until I learned--from complaining in a forum such as this--that it's very easy to run two instances side-by-side (with WinBatch making this a one-button operation). Once I learned that trick, there was no going back to File Mangler (sic).
