Slight left turn on the path of Re: The cranky user: The importance of documentation

I hope the following is relevant to Craig's subject; apologies if I should
have retitled this post more. However, I feel extremely cranky after reading
Maureen Dowd's 11/30/08 column about newspaper articles about local issues
being written on another continent.

This does not mean overseas correspondence, or reporters sending local Near
Eastern etc. news to US papers. It means US papers sending info (videos,
blogs, etc.) to people on another continent, where they rewrite or reformat
or ... and send it back to US newspapers for publication. The "best" part is
that the offshore "writers" don't feel that accuracy is important. All a bit
sci fi to me..
