To lend? Or not to lend? That is the question. Yes, there's process
involved. But that doesn't call for twisting a noun into a verb. I
**decided** not to lend. You may "decision" all you wish, if you're
really convinced that's a viable verb, but I think that it is not. :)

Because a loan does not have two sides, it is "yes" or "no" and not
"left"
or "right," for example. Either there is a loan or there is not a loan.
A case on the other hand, exists, but which way it goes requires a
decision.
If the case is dismissed, then it is not decided. So there is a
decision to hear a case (yes or no) and then the case is decided (left
or right).
