Personally, I find that a good reference book is a good thing no
matter how much experience you have. There will always be something
you don't know, can't quite remember, or would like another
perspective on; and a shelf of reference books can be worth its weight
in gold, particularly ones that have been recommended by other writers
who have found them useful.
