Subject:Re: PDF not capturing text in Visio diagram From:Pro TechWriter <pro -dot- techwriter -at- gmail -dot- com> To:Greg Brown <greg -dot- brown -at- pronto -dot- com -dot- au> Date:Tue, 5 May 2009 10:06:15 -0500
Hi, Greg:
You might check to see how Acrobat is processing fonts. If the font settings
are set to replace with Acrobat fonts, that could be your problem. Set the
fonts to "download as soft font" and see if that makes a difference. Using a
"standard" font like Arial in the Visio diagram could also help.
Otherwise, exporting the Visio diagram as a graphic (.png or .jpg) is a good
solution, as others mentioned. It will also be smaller if it is a png. Just
make sure you set the resolution high enough to be good for a print copy.
Hope this helps,
PT
