Hi, Bear.
If the figures are inserted by reference, just go to the book file and use Add>List of>References, and set up the generated file to list all Imported Graphics. I think the only gotcha is that the path that is provided is relative to the book file's location rather than an absolute path unless the two have different roots.
If the graphics are pasted in, I think you're SOL unless you have FrameScript and want to spend some time and/or money on a scripted solution.
