TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
If this site works as advertised, I would find it at least as useful as
Google. I often type an actual question in Google's search field. There
are sometimes enough keywords in the sentence to return a fairly useful
result. When that doesn't work I'll drag out the 'ole brain and try a
different strategy...I hate when I have to do that. Wolfram COULD become
a preferred search engine. Of course, that means that I might become
better informed AND stupider at the same time...hmmm.

A friend sent me this link. It takes a while to load and to get through
the demo, so do it when you have some time.
