TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
Ultimately, my real desire would be for the latest release of every SW program
to come with an option check box titled, "Make it work just like the previous
release." Or better yet, let me pick which previous release going back to 1.0.

OK, that seems unanimous.
Time to gird my loins for a chat to the project manager and developers.
I suspect it's not going to be a popular suggestion, but it is, from a
user PoV, by far the best :)
