RE: Documenting two similar interfaces

While I was speaking somewhat generically--as a general rule, people
hate changing the way they do things--clearly David Neeley's original
comment this morning points to the conventional wisdom re: the ribbon.
That was: "At one go, they are copying what is probably the single most
unpopular change to Microsoft Office in living memory."

What "initial massive rejection"? My beer-bet anecdote gave the opposite
of Peter's -- he got 21.84 to 1 against, I got 10.25 to 1 in favor.

Of course, this ignores the initial massive *expense* -- i.e.,
upgrading...
