Subject:Re: Standards for warning icons From:Nancy Allison <maker -at- verizon -dot- net> To:neilson -at- windstream -dot- net Date:Fri, 07 Aug 2009 11:54:36 -0500 (CDT)
Neil asks,
"How have you gotten saddled with this problem? Isn't it up to the
client's legal department to do the necessary research and present you
with vetted icons and standards for each country?"
The sad truth of the matter is, I am poking into this simply because I have been asked to clean up the templates a bit. The icons are in the templates. They confuse the heck out of me. So . . . because I cannot help meself . . . I go ahead and start asking questions!
The problem is quickly taking on dimensions I had only vaguely anticipated, and I will be happy to pass it along to the people with the proper authority in the company to resolve it. I won't do anything on my own initiative in any case -- the stakes are too high.
