That's assuming that (a) you have your laptop with you (and it's net capable
on the cell network, and you have a plan that gives you access to that), (b)
you are in an area with unsecured WiFi (if your laptop is "simply" wireless
and not g3 networked) or that has cell service, (c) your laptop is charged,
and (d) the company's web site is operations and the document is there.
A book requires no extra equipment (unless you need reading glasses) or
power. I figure if the auto companies attempt this, it will stop 5 seconds
after the first lawsuit from some stranded person who is not net savvy.
