A book you might look at is:
Developing Quality Technical Information: A Handbook for Writers and
Editors, Second Edition
by Gretchen Hargis
It is more writing process than project management, but as well as writing
for clarity, completeness, etc, it covers task analysis, organisation,
testing and editing. I like it for its checklists at the back. Not sure how
well it fits your project management focus. Hackos is probably still the
best for that, but the new edition does have a lot more corporate portfolio
management information.
Cheers,
Margaret
