Thanks all. And although I have never ever seen this message before, no
matter if selected or deselected the option, I was still having the same
problem, so I rebooted as Gene recommended and voila, all appears to be OK.

Yes, this is a real Acrobat error message. I've seen it a few times over
the
years. It has something to do with font registrations in Windows and the
Acrobat Distiller. It comes and goes with no apparent explanation, and
everytime I've experienced it, rebooting the system has made it go away. No
idea what to do if that doesn't work.
