Chris,
First, you are doing this backwards, you should record the audio first and
then capture screens as the audio plays back. It will be much easier to
synch up the action to the VO.
Second, what is being used to the create the AVI? Whatever is being used
should include a method for adding an audio track.
Third, Windows movie maker, which your probably already have can do this
quite easily.
