What's missing here is the part where the first time the help attempts to send
stats it pops up a dialog telling the user what it's trying to do and providing 
an
"ok" button for the user to grant permission.  Otherwise, my firewall will 
notify
me that a program on my computer is trying to access the internet and do the
same thing, and if that program is one that I don't think needs to be accessing
the internet to do what I need it to do, I'm going to block it.  I may even 
start
wondering what other kinds of spyware the company has peppered through
the rest of the program.
