You will learn the principles and mechanisms of topic-oriented authoring,
following the DITA information model. You create valid DITA topics of
various information types and collect these topics in a prototype DITA map,
ready for publication.
You use various DITA-aware editors, such as DITA-FMx, XMetaL and oXygen XML
Editor.

- Be able to create topics of various information types
- Be familiar with the main elements of the DITA information model

*BRING YOUR OWN LAPTOP (BYOL)*
You bring your own laptop to class. In class, we install the required
software and you do hands-on exercises on your laptop. After class, you can
get additional guidance from one of Scripto's DITA coaches, if needed.
