I would download Rick Stone's (free) "Skinny on Skins" for WebHelp - http://www.robowizard.com/RoboWizard/Downloads/Skinny_on_Skins.htm - and look at what it says about custom buttons.

Subject: Robohelp 8: javascript for custom buttons

Hi all,

Here's the situation:

I've added custom Previous and Next buttons to the skin I'm using, but when I try to set up the onLoad, onMouseOver, and onClick functionality, I can't seem to get the buttons to work. Visually, the rollover image swap works fine, but functionally, nothing happens when I click the buttons. whtbar.js appears to be the correct script to use, and cusButton(sOnLoad), cusButton(sOnMouseOver), cusButton(sOnClick) the correct calls, but I'm not getting anywhere using them.

Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? Thanks, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Jan C.
