Hi Chris,

We're using BB Screen Capture to record and publish SWFs natively. It
doesn't provide a lot of editing. At home I also downloaded the free
version of Camtasia Studio (v. 3) for Windows, and would be buy the
latest release out of pocket if I saw more need in my home
contracting.
On the site http://www.transpocity.ca, I used FlashTurbine to convert
our videographer's MOV files to SWF. Of course, this was back in the
day when I had to write my own player and H.264 was not an option.
Of the two commercial players I mentioned, JW seems to provide the
most bare-bones functionality (ugh--that word!) for the cost. However,
Flowplayer is really good, and I'd use it just to support the creator
of the jQuery tools I love so much.
Cheers,
-Tony
