Good morning, all,
First, my gratitude to all who wrote me suggestions regarding my project
manager's delight in catching me making typos. I knew I was right, but
regressing to a "Yes" "No!" "Yes" "No!" argument with this man would
have accomplished little else beyond making me look foolish, so I let it
go. I changed the offensive sentence to "has been exceeded" and peace
reigns across the land.
For now.
Should he attempt to engage me again, I plan to hand him the folder of
printed emails I've saved, suggesting that said PM has bigger problems
than verb tenses to manage.
Second, I loved the procedure example for donning a sports bra. I
laughed so hard, I had people running to my cube to find out why. I have
to agree with someone who suggested there be a procedure for removing a
sports bra, as well. Though this falls into the category of TMI, I tore
my rotator cuff attempting such an action without carefully written and
tested instructions, and had to endure months of pain followed by
physical therapy. I am now happy to report I do not need surgery.
