Guy K. Haas said in response to "Pleasurable typo (and the horror of
Google)"
>OK, then. What if I want to find instances of
x-ray
vs
x ray
vs
xray
There would appear to be no syntax, no way of stating the pattern, to say
"Don't ignore punctuation." If I want "x" followed by white space followed
by "ray" but NOT "xray", there's no way to specify that.<
This, my friends, is why I turn off my brain at five on Fridays and saunter
over to my favorite bistro to quaff some mighty find ale (a fine English
microbrew hand pumped from the barrel in the basement) and share a plate of
calamari and maybe a salad with my wife, while we laugh with friends and
make fun of those who aren't at the table. We can save the world tomorrow,
and figure out where Buffalo chips fall in that fine dissertation on B.S.
and why it is not profane, but derogatory toward male bovines.
