Based on your new ExampleCompany model, I guess you would have to ask if the
problem the customer experienced was truly a "bug", or simply a feature of
the way the product was designed. The key to agile development is to fail
early and fail often. The success of agile is how the company responds to
such failures.
As tech writers we're in the precarious place of advocating for the user,
meanwhile protecting the company. We need to be as specific as possible, yet
maintain a reasonable amount of generality. Both the user and the customer
must believe our feet dangle on their side of the fence as we sit on it.
