My experience has been that HR people usually don't do much more than look for
keyword matches between the job posting and the resumes. Recruiters, OTOH, scan
candidate resumes to try to catch things that might kill their chance to get a
commission before they submit a resume to the client company.
I try to avoid arcane or jargonesque wording unless it's actually in the job
listing. In this case, I would just change "emergy" to "embodied energy," and
let anyone who doesn't know what that is query me on it rather than mistake it
for "energy."
