Subject:Re: A Word autonumbering/PDF problem From:Pro TechWriter <pro -dot- techwriter -at- gmail -dot- com> To:Jessica Weissman <Jessica -dot- Weissman -at- hillcrestlabs -dot- com> Date:Thu, 18 Mar 2010 15:36:09 -0500
If the conversion settings are the same, and there have been:
No Adobe updates
No Microsoft updates
And the Word document is the only thing that has changed in between working
and not working....
It might be the Word doc. It wouldn't hurt to try copying the Word text the
way you would for a corrupted document, which means put a space at the very
beginning and don't copy that, and don't copy the very last character in the
document. Then paste it into a brand-new, blank document. Then try the PDF
again.
Sometimes saving the document as an RTF and trying to create the PDF might
also work.
Hope this helps.
