"Why Master Documents Corrupt" has been around quite a while...since the
late 1990's? The Office Watch article claims that since then, Microsoft has
completely rewritten the master document code and tested it extensively. If
true, that is good news indeed.
I noted with some amusement, however, the accompanying article on how the
master document feature still causes document corruption when used with
Sharepoint.
Okay, who has a very long, mission-critical document they would like to test
with the new-n-improved master document feature and report back in a year?
