To capture a complete screen, press *[PrintScreen]*.
To capture only the active window, press *[Alt]*+*[PrintScreen]*.
The image is captured to the Windows Clipboard.
Next, paste the Clipboard image into MS Paint (*Start* > *Run* > MSPAINT).
Within Paint, you can pull out just what you want, add what you want, fudge
existing shots, add callouts, or whatever else your creative mind can dream
up. Make sure you get well acquainted with the Select and Magnifier tools.
No, it's not as fully-featured as SnagIt, but it's free and it works.
