Assuming they exist, the primary need of the OP is 
to find authoritative sources that support her 
argument. One problem with that is that such sources 
are subject to change, and they all age at different 
rates and get revised on different schedules, usually 
years-or-decades long. 

The exercise is one of sifting, followed by spin.    :-)
