RE: Word 2007 woes, no red underlining

When in doubt, the first thing to do is close Word and throw away the
Normal.dot file. The next time you open Word it will recreate the file. (I
often reboot before reopening Word, but I don't thing you really have to...I
may be wrong.)

I had an instance recently where Word would only open up in Safe Mode,
although it had been working great up until I shut down for dinner. Drove me
crazy (or crazier). Then, I dumped the Normal.dot file, rebooted and brought
Word back up and everyone is happy again.
