for Word that leverage Google Docs and may freak out your IT
department.

I don't consider Teamviewer "collaborative" in the sense you describe.
Multiple users would trip over each other while editing different
portions of the same document. That said, Teamviewer is an awesome
program for real-time support. However it is NOT free for commercial
use. Teamviewer has a ridiculously low priced entry point for a single
lifetime user to support unlimited remote users. Not a bad bargain.

I would just go for straight Google or Zoho docs, if the doc format is
really necessary. Otherwise, wiki, wiki, wiki. ;-)
