> A while back I know we had a thread on portable apps (I found a big list from January), but wasn't there mention specifically of a screen capture package that ran well on a stick?

Irfanview runs very well from a flash drive.
If you're capturing screens from multiple PCs, two features which can
be very handy are automatic enabling/disabling of ClearType and
automatic enabling/disabling of shadows under menus and cursors (if
the app can even capture the shadows...most can't). I've seen one or
the other in some of the non-portable screen capture apps, but not
(last time I checked) in any of the portable apps.
