Subject:"back" in MS Word From:mattgras -at- comcast -dot- net To:TECHWR-L Writing <techwr-l -at- lists -dot- techwr-l -dot- com> Date:Wed, 21 Jul 2010 18:36:40 +0000 (UTC)
I'm looking for a way to create a "back" function in MS Word 2007.
I'm using Word's "cross reference" tool to create live links to tables in a Word doc. So, for example, there might be a cross reference on page 1 to a table on page 10. Control-click the x-ref on page 1, and you land at the table on page 10.
What I want to do now is create a "back" link. What I envision is having:
[back]
beneath each table. When "[back]" is clicked, the reader is bounced back to the original paragraph.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
matt
