Hi,
I used such type of text on master pages a long time ago and as far as I can
remember, I inserted a text box, then the text inside. If you don't find the
grey colour you need in the Character Designer > Color options, you can create
your own grey colour using the View > Color > Definitions menu. Then the created
colour will appear in the list of colours in your Character Designer.
Hope this helps.

Subject: FM needs grey text
Folks,
I'm trying to place the word "Draft" in light grey and rotated 45 degrees on my
FrameMaker version 8.0 master pages.
I tried both using text inside a text box and rotated and also tried creating
rotated text from the graphics toolbox.
But can't find where to modify "black" to any shade of grey; did find a tip to
set it as yellow for output as grey on black-and-white printers, but we now have
ONLY a color printer.
I did this once before but it was many years ago and have lost track of how. Any
ideas?
