And I would just say "Call 555-1212", leaving it to the reader to decide what device to do so on. "Dial" is still in common parlance, taken as metaphorical most of the time I suppose.
As for the terminology, my current employer has us list phones as Office, Home, and Mobile. I have no problem with landline; it fills a useful semantic slot where no other term fits precisely. That's why it won't remain slang for long, if indeed it still is.
