Wow. Corporate sabotage gone public.
I wonder what rival company succeeded in getting a mole placed that highly in Adobe.
They had to be able to coordinate the decisions regarding the software behavior and the "support" postings on the website, suggesting that they had the clout to control several departments and to suppress any voices of reason.
Kudos to somebody. That looks like a master stroke.
Hmm. Is it even illegal? To be in the pay of some other organization while you work up to a position to do damage at a company?
I can see where it _might_ be if you were engaging in stock manipulation. But if you are literally employed by one company to join another, get cozy, and then stab 'em with the "ridiculous policy" fork, is that a crime?

Robohelp is impacted too, as well as the CS5 products.
Of all the mis-begotten, dunder-headed things I've seen Adobe try to pull
over the years this has to be the worst. Maybe they'll change when they see
government purchases plummet. Even when gov't environs can connect to the
Internet they never allow silent connections. WTF are they thinking?
