I just opened a new copy of Adobe Captivate 4 (required for a project). It starts fine, but displays a slate gray screen with no way apparent to get past that screen. I had a similar problem a year or so ago, and the workaround was to click the Window ==> Comments on the menu bar. Unfortunately, the Window drop-down menu does not include that option (or much of anything else except to display or not display the Status Bar). Any idea how to get past that start screen? I can start a new file fine, but when I try to open an existing file, all I get is a slate gray window of death--and no apparent way to get past it. Any suggestions will be deeply appreciated.
Thanks
