Craig,
I'm not really aware of any Windows-migration-anxiety lists, though I'm sure we stand at the ready to help get you through it. 8-)
Some hopeful news: We migrated to Win7 and Office 2007 about a year ago with very few hiccups that I can recall. All the Word-based manuals and RoboHelp 8 Help files backed up and restored nicely, and things generally work as before. I have <ahem>adapted</ahem> to the Word ribbon, even if it does still frustrate me at times (Best tip I've received on this score: Ctrl+Shift+S to see the floating Styles dialog).
Hope this helps ease your pain...
Mike McCallister

That's encouraging. Frown.
I'm getting a clean install this week. I'm being backed up Wednesday - Thursday and I'm getting "upgraded" Thursday - Friday.
I'm HOPING it all goes well, cuz ALL our user guides and manuals are on my machine in MadCap Flare. Shiver.
I have my executables and my maintenance key, but still......
