You say "Of course free apps are nice, but really Iâm interested in paid apps on the (perhaps erroneous) assumption that if an app costs money, developers have taken more time/care to include proper and/or innovative Help."
I spoke to one of these app developers about producing free and low cost apps, one who makes a good living out of it I would add. The free or low cost apps are produced using the same business model as drug dealers. The app does what is says and does it very well but either there will be a more sophisticated version or you will want other apps from that developer. The freebie or low cost app is to get you hooked.
Don't assume because it s free or low cost, the app has not been produced with care.
